StudyDesk was built from a real student routine.
Created by Qadir Ahmad, StudyDesk did not begin as a startup idea or a collection of random features. It started as a small personal timer in Class 6 and kept changing whenever the study routine changed.
It started in Class 6
During the lockdown and online-school period, Qadir Ahmad was in Class 6. StudyDesk began as a very small personal timer — simply a way to make study time visible and stay focused during online learning. At that stage it was not a public platform; it was just a tool made for personal study.
The routine changed, so StudyDesk changed
School began reopening during Class 8, so the study routine was no longer only online. In Class 9, Qadir studied with Physics Wallah's PW Neev batch and continued using and improving the timer-and-focus idea. In Class 10, he studied with the Udaan batch while also attending Aakash Institute offline, which made planning across online classes, offline coaching, revision and pending work much more important.
Class 11–12: from timer to complete workspace
In Class 11, Qadir joined the PW Power Batch JEE two-year program. The original timer was no longer enough. StudyDesk gradually expanded into planning, Todo and backlog management, subject-wise study tracking, a 24-hour activity view, analytics, revision support and AI Tutor features. By Class 11–12, it had become a complete study workspace rather than a single timer.
Why StudyDesk became public
StudyDesk was originally made only for Qadir's own use. Later, friends asked if they could use it too. That changed the direction of the project: instead of remaining a personal dashboard, StudyDesk was adapted so other students could create accounts, add their own subjects and use the same study workflow for their own preparation.
What StudyDesk is today
StudyDesk connects the parts of studying that are usually spread across separate apps: a focus timer, Planner, Todo, subject tracking, study logs, progress analytics and AI Tutor. The goal is not to add features for the sake of having more features; it is to make the next useful study action clear and keep the student's work connected.
Who it is for
StudyDesk can be used for JEE, NEET, board preparation, regular school study, college work or a custom subject setup. The workflow is designed around the student's own subjects and routine rather than locking everyone into one exam or one study method.
Built for study
StudyDesk remains centered on the reason it was created in the first place: studying with more clarity and less friction. Public pages explain the product, while private Planner, Todo, Tutor conversations, uploads and analytics remain part of the student's own account experience.
AI and information limits
AI-generated educational responses can contain mistakes, and exam rules or official notices can change. Important calculations, eligibility rules, dates and high-stakes information should be checked against reliable primary or official sources.
Use your Planner, Todo list, Timer, revision tools and AI Tutor together inside StudyDesk.
