Official notice dated 8 October 2026
NIOS has now listed the October–November 2026 Secondary and Senior Secondary theory examination date-sheet notification on its SDMIS notification page. This is a new update compared with the earlier practical-exam notification. Learners should consult the actual dated PDF for each paper instead of using a projected calendar from an older guide.
Which learners should check it?
- Secondary (equivalent to Class 10) learners registered for the appropriate October–November public examination session.
- Senior Secondary (equivalent to Class 12) learners registered for that public examination session.
- Learners who previously checked a practical-exam timetable: theory and practical notices may be different.
- Anyone using NIOS On-Demand Examination (ODE) should check ODE notices separately rather than assuming the public-exam schedule applies.
How to access and use the official date sheet
- Open the NIOS SDMIS notifications page and locate the notice dated 08-10-2026 for October/November 2026 examinations.
- Open the notice and PDF, then locate your registered subject codes and programme.
- Write down each exam date and reporting time from the notice; check for a later amendment or revised timetable.
- Confirm your NIOS enrolment details and follow your admit-card/centre instructions when released.
- If a PDF date conflicts with a third-party timetable, treat the latest NIOS-issued notice as controlling and ask your regional centre where necessary.
Practical preparation after publication
Start with the closest scheduled subject and allocate revision time around your own timetable. Check the syllabus and previously issued sample or public examination papers, and set reminders for downloading the hall ticket. Do not confuse practical sessions with written theory examinations.
Keep an offline copy of the date sheet and a second copy of your enrolment and exam-centre information. Timelines and eligibility can differ between sessions and learners; the official portal is the final authority.
