Scholarship source hierarchy
- Government scheme portal or ministry/department page.
- Scholarship provider or foundation application page.
- Current notice from the participating university/institute when the scheme is institution-routed.
- A secondary source only when primary material is unavailable, with the limitation stated clearly.
How status is labelled
| Label | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Open | A current application route or official notice indicates applications are being accepted. |
| Closing soon | An open opportunity has a verified deadline approaching within the finder window. |
| Renewal only | The current cycle is available only to existing scholars or renewal applicants. |
| Upcoming | A provider has announced a future application window or reopening. |
| Monitor | The programme exists, but a current fresh application window is not verified. |
| Closed | The verified current/most recent application window has ended. |
Eligibility data in the Scholarship Finder
The finder stores structured criteria only when they are known: study level, state/region, course, category, income ceiling, marks, course year, institution condition and application type. Unknown criteria are not guessed.
Student profile privacy
Profile filters such as marks, income and eligibility category should be used only to calculate matches. StudyDesk does not need those values indexed by search engines or exposed in public faceted URLs.
When a scholarship must be rechecked
- Deadline has passed or is within a short period.
- The application page is unavailable or redirects unexpectedly.
- Award amount, income limit or eligible course changed.
- The scheme is carried forward from a previous academic year.
- A user reports that the official source contradicts StudyDesk.
