Eligibility and exam pattern

The December 2026 cycle is for admission to Class VIII at RIMC for the July 2027 term.
NTA states that candidates should be at least 12½ years and not more than 14 years old as on 1 July 2027.
The written test is pen-and-paper based. The notice lists descriptive Mathematics and English plus multiple-choice General Knowledge.
The notice lists 39 examination cities across India; candidates should use the information bulletin for the city list and detailed rules.
