What students should do now
Until the final date sheet is published, students should focus on syllabus completion and official academic/sample-paper resources.
- Do not use a 2026 timetable as a 2027 date prediction.
- Check CBSE's official examination circular page for the final PDF.
- When released, compare your exact subjects and codes before creating a revision plan.
- Track Class 10 second-board rules separately from the main examination.

What the 2026 cycle tells us
CBSE issued a tentative 2026 date sheet in September 2025 and the final Class X/XII date sheet later in October 2025. That timing is a recent-cycle reference only, not a promise for 2027.
