In 2026, most of Paper 2A was CBT while the Drawing Test was pen-and-paper. Paper 2B was CBT.
Duration and shifts — 2026 reference
The 2026 bulletin listed three hours for Paper 1, Paper 2A or Paper 2B individually, and three hours 30 minutes when B.Arch and B.Planning were taken together. Standard three-hour shifts were 9:00 AM-12:00 noon and 3:00 PM-6:00 PM.
How to use the pattern before 2027 is announced
- Practice both MCQ and numerical-value questions for Paper 1.
- Train with full three-hour mock tests.
- Track mistakes caused by negative marking separately from conceptual errors.
